An American Affair
Apart from how boring this was, it was also historically inaccurate (apart from Kennedy’s assassination), but even still, setting this during that time frame is somewhat distracting.The main plot is generic, recycled and unrealistic to say the least. What are the chances of this kid actually coming across all the events that happen in this story? Not bloody likely.Still, though, there were a couple good scenes (the ending was surprisingly good), but just not enough to save a mediocre clip. Mediocre, but watchable at least. I’d be more willing to give this a three and a half, but unfortunately I have to pick either three or four here on IMDb…so I’m leaning more towards a three.

Itty Bitty Titty Committee
this mpeg, which I saw in San Fran and then twice in LA knocked my socks off. Jamie Babbit needs an Oscar….this is fun, factual, funny and for god’s sake a really good love story. I think that anna and sadie are sexy and really real as chicks who dig chicks….daniela sea has never been better and guin turner is funny. BUT THE BEST Part is the story. Good old fashion love story set against the funny group of hot chicks trying to change the world. This is so true and real it hurts. It is funny and the best lesbian clip I have ever seen. I have seen a lot of them. Cheerleader is really good but this one is so much better. I don’t know what video some of you gals are talking about here..only thing I can think is your uptight and then this flick is not for you. BEST LESBIAN flick EVER!!!!!

The Cell 2
This mpeg is awful. If you saw The Cell and were thinking ‘Wow AWESOME, gimme more of this’, then please don’t go see this mpeg.In the ‘first’ clip (I’m starting to think that the relation between the two is nothing more than the name and the first two shots of the second one) the dream scape was immersing, creative and beautiful, sometimes in a creepy way. In The Cell 2, the dream scape is just a cheap effect, a few squiggly lines at the edges of the screen. Story-wise, it lacks any continuity. Instead of having to be suspended in the air, hooked up to some extreme high tech system in weird suites, the main character is half awake while in the back of a plane, holding a personal item of someone involved. Somehow, they took that awesome dreamsurfing equipment and made it some bluetooth dongle stuck to her head. Furthermore, The shots look cheap, as do the sets. The tactics used by the police or swat are not remotely realistic, and quite frankly, make them look like a fart of the antagonist could blow them away. Now all of this would not be ultimate game-breaking stuff, but i just saw The Cell 1 only two hours ago and was hoping for some more psychedelic-dreamy-crime-horror-thriller-sexy-chicks(lopez) film, but instead, I got ‘ a shot at the big-time ‘Not every director has a huge budget, and there’s nothing wrong with that, but somehow this director acquired a ‘ The Cell ‘ license and then ran out of money. Now there will never be a The Cell 3.
